This policy describes how EtherPDF (“the app”) handles information when you use it on your device.
The documents, images, and text you work with in EtherPDF are processed on your device. The app is designed so that this work completes locally on your iPhone; we do not operate a backend that receives your files or your OCR results for processing by us.
EtherPDF does not send your content to our servers for storage or processing. There is no account-based cloud service tied to the app through which we collect your PDFs or scans.
Standard iOS features (for example iCloud backup of your device, if you have enabled it) are controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by EtherPDF as a separate upload to us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the content you create or process in the app with third parties for their marketing or analytics on our behalf as part of the app’s operation described here.
Like most apps distributed through the App Store, Apple may provide us with aggregated or diagnostic information according to Apple’s own policies (for example crash reports or sales statistics). That is separate from EtherPDF uploading your document contents to us.
EtherPDF is a general productivity tool. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that raises a privacy concern, contact us using the email below.
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
